We've had a few good blog entries written about us in the past few weeks.

Connecticut's H.A. Dunne & Co. Launches New Website Collection of Vintage New York Photos

Jeff Berg and Susie Dunne, husband and wife owners of a popular vintage and ephemera store, are proud to announce the launch of their websites featuring a collection of thousands of rarely-seen vintage New York City photos at NYCVintageImages.com.

The photographs represent the collection of Susie Dunne’s father, H.A. Dunne, who spent a lifetime amassing glass-plate and old celluloid negatives of images of his beloved native New York. The images range from the late 1800s to the 1950s and feature everything from ordinary street scenes of daily life, to iconic buildings, many of them now lost to history.

H.A. Dunne Prepares for it's Pre-Holiday Bash

Things are shaping up for our party on November 20. We've agreed on a menu with Anne Gallagher, who provided us with so many fabulous choices that it was quite a challenge. We have yet to decide on the wine, we're quite certain we're up to the task.

Susie and Jeff visit the WTC Construction Site

Last Monday was very exciting for H.A. Dunne & Co.  Susie and I went into New York City to meet with the independent filmmaker in charge of documenting the construction of the new World Trade Center for Silverstein Properties.  He wanted to discuss H.A. Dunne's collection of approximately 3,000 photo negatives documenting the construction of the original World Trade Center to see whether there could be a way to use our images in conjunction with his.

Ann Nyberg, Channel 8 News Anchor and "Annie Mame" blogger, visits H.A. Dunne & Co.

Last Thursday, H.A. Dunne & Co. had the great pleasure of having Ann Nyberg, Channel 8 News Anchor and blogger, visit us. Not only is Ann an interesting, talented person, she is very focused on promoting Connecticut small businesses. We spent an hour or so showing Ann some of our treasures, and she turned that into a great blog entry. We're very excited, and we hope as fans of H.A. Dunne you are too.
